The BMW 3 Series is the best car of its class
Once
again (now for the 9th time!), more than hundred thousand readers of
the premier german car magazine "Auto, Motor, Sport" (AMS) elected the
BMW 3 Series to be the best car of its class.
The starting signal to an exciting race was given in february 1999 where
the brand new BMW 3 series was elected "Car of the Year". For one year, the
automotive middle class tried to track down this title. For one year, the BMW
had to show in day-to-day use what it is made of. In march of 2000, the result
is certain: the distance between the BMW 3 series and its pursuers has
increased. An overwhelming majority has once again elected the BMW 3 series
to be the best car of its class.
It is now for the 9th time that the BMW 3 series wins
this title. Seldom before, however, the lead over its pursuers has been
that clear: 43% of the 125761 readers of AMS voted for the BMW. You ask for
reasons? Experience them yourself during a test run at your local BMW dealer :-).
